XEN0 is an abstract being; a sprite; an existence of consciousness; an awareness of itself. I know this sounds a bit like its caught up in its own bullshit but it really is just that. It’s one human’s interpretation and expression of a living entity inside all of our minds. A positive, subconscious virus?

XEN0 has inhabited the mind of Templar for at least the last 27 years, studying his world and every person in it. Gradually it gained strength and has continuously tried to communicate with the host.

The biggest danger it faces is misinterpretation and bad execution of its messages. Since the beginning of 2001 XEN0 has managed to communicate, on a number of occasions, directly and clearly with its host. Eventually motivating him to start drawing and writing at its will.

In order to be understood more easily by more people XEN0 has taken on fundamental human characteristics such as a name, physical shape, tone of voice, personality, etc. The name ‘XEN0’ serves only as a reference to link this appearance with any future one. These ‘physical’ manifestations could be in the form of anything from text, images and animations to SMS’s, friendly computer viruses and other online mechanisms.

Xenoglosia is an unusual phenomenon in which a spirit can express themselves through a host in a language the host cannot normally speak or understand.

The symbol is there too for instant identification of the source of communication.

There is meaning in the symbol but that will be revealed in more depth in the future. This physical existence is merely a visual expression of its being; a rough sketch of the real message.

This is the first exposure to the public and quite frankly XEN0 is not completely satisfied that it is an accurate portrayal. New words still need to be constructed to fully describe what lives inside us.

During the exhibition opening the food designed by Yum integrated XENO allowing visitors to consume the "spirit" concept.
