Working between art and design, this exhibition will showcase Murray Turpin's technical drawings from the prototype of his “first robot army, selected components and there proposed interactive training space”. It will include an installation of a proposed life size 2-D series model with possible interaction points. The evening will consist of his exhibition opening in the corridor and a music performance by Mtkidu: 24min - a set, in abstraction, African Noise Foundation and Devil’s Cartel on the terrace. Murray studied a BA Fine Arts Degree at the University of the Witwatersrand (Hons.) and now lives, works and performs in Johannesburg as Mtkidu.
