the work of film-makers like John Waters, BrucelaBruce and Pedro Almodovar.

SNAKES tells the story of Sheila Brown (Robert Whitehead), an evil
television evangelist, who, together with her lesbian partner Shirley Gold
(Brian Webber), is running a successful christian cosmetics company. An
unexpected visit from Sheila's long lost transsexual son Sebastian (Carl
Beukes) disturbs the status quo at Sheila Brown Cosmetics. Sebastian demands
money for the completion of his sex change and Sheila is not about to part
with her hard earned cash so easily. Sheila has to find a way to deal with
her embarassing offspring. Will she go as far as murder her own child?
